We are seeking a proactive Senior I.T. Technician to support and enhance technical operations across our main office, stores, and warehouses. This role involves maintaining high communication standards with the IT Director and being on-call for urgent issues during evenings and on weekends. You’ll play a crucial role in troubleshooting hardware/software, managing inventory, and overseeing POS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee IT inventory, including order receiving, stock tracking, and relaying purchase needs to the IT Director. Ensure tracking of critical assets.
- HQ IT Support: Provide technical support, maintain professional workspace standards, and uphold a “no ticket, no service” policy.
- Store & Warehouse Support: Prioritize support for sales-impacting issues, with flexibility to delegate tasks.
- POS Expertise: Lead setup, training, and troubleshooting for POS systems, guiding Operations on system administration.
- New Store Setups: Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Technician to ensure all IT systems are fully functional for store openings.
- Team Leadership: Act as the IT Director’s liaison, maintaining communication, training, and mentoring junior IT staff.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree is not necessary OR equivalent experience in a related area. Availability for on-call support, strong communication and technical skills, and ability to manage inventory and train others are essential.
